Flamingo Fundraiser

Flamingo Fundraiser
Posted on 10/19/2016
FCCLA and Interact are combining efforts to flock yards with beautiful pink flamingos. This is a service project to raise funds for the family of Jimmy Conn. For those who may not know, Jimmy suffered a staph infection in his eye which required surgery and months of treatment. He has been unable to work since July but thankfully gained clearance to get back to work last week. Although he is making progress, he was recently given the option to continue treatments or have his eye removed. He has chosen to keep his eye but will need a few more prayers and surgeries in the near future as they work to restore the sight in his eye. As you can imagine, the medical bills are adding up and we’d like to rally around them and help. We have multiple forms floating around with ways in which you can get involved. Click here for the forms or you can also contact a member of FCCLA or Interact for more information. Do you have someone in mind who would get a kick out of waking up to pink flamingos in their yard? Contact us! Do you know for a fact that you would rather not see those majestic creatures in your yard? Sign up for anti-flocking insurance! This is all in good fun and for a great cause. Thanks in advance for your support.
